There's no doubt about it that having a six pack is one thing that many people will sadly only ever dream of. This is mainly because it does take a lot of work and effort to not only build the muscle but also lose the fat around the belly area.
Also, people get it so wrong and just concentrate on exercising, rather than diet. It doesn't matter how many sit ups you do, if you aren't losing your belly fat then you'll never get a six pack that you can see. You really need to sort out a diet and not just a normal diet, a fat burning diet.
You need to create a daily calorie deficit, that ensures you are using your bodies own energy source (i.e your fat) instead of burning the food that you are eating. This creates a great fat melting position for the body and also speeds up your metabolism greatly at the same time.
The best abs workout is one that has many different types of all over body exercises, as well as ones concentrating on the ab area. You won't lose enough fat if you just do sit ups, you need to exercise the whole body to create the right balance of fat loss.
